About NOUNJE

The NOUN Journal of Education (NOUNJE) is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Education, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). It aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of original research in the broad field of education. The journal seeks to promote academic dialogue, foster intellectual development, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in education and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). NOUNJE welcomes empirical research, theoretical studies, and reviews that focus on the various dimensions of education. The journal is committed to publishing high-quality original content that meets global research standards. Copyright Ownership and License

The copyright of all published articles is retained by the author. The journal retains a “fair use” agreement to edit and format to the journal specifications, and reproduce the author’s work in any media that the journal may publish in the future. The author is also free to republish the original manuscript in other journals once the work is published.

The NOUN JOURNAL OF EDUCATION (NOUNJE) supports and encourages Open Access and fee-free publication models, and provides access to a wide range of free resources to assist African researchers, authors and editors. The journal licenses the non-exclusive right to publish the article, which means that the author can re-authorize its publication in other formats (such as in edited monographs). In this scenario, the author will often license the right of first publication to the journal/publisher.

Aim and Scope

Its aim is to publish scholarly research outputs. The scope of the journal covers the broad areas in the field of education. It will also publish research monographs, feature articles, brief notes, comments on published articles and book reviews.
